2.8 “Underdog” Provision: Exceptional Novice or intermediate Class athletes with three years of periodic Muaythai training may elect to compete in a more advanced class. Registrants wishing to compete in a more advanced class must declare that they have in-fact received three years of periodic Muaythai training from a competent trainer, and they must declare that they understand and accept the increased risks associated with competing against athletes with superior skills. No athlete shall compete in a lesser class.
Experience Class: A group of competitors with similar levels of experience
- Open (Class A): 10+ bouts
- Intermediate (Class B): 4-9 bouts
- Novice (Class C): 0-3 bouts
